Act 3 Scene 3

Cinna: Truly, My name is Cinna.
First Plebeian : tear him to pieces! He's a conspirator.
Cinna: I am Cinna the poet! I am Cinna the poet!
Fourth Plebeian : tear him for his bad verses! tear him for his bad verses!
Cinna : I am not Cinna the conspirator!
Fourth Plebeian : It is no matter, his name's Cinna; pluck but his name out of his heart, and turn his going.
they attack him

This passage was the most important in this scene because it shows how the Romans are passionate to find Caesars and at the same time very capricious and impulsive. They're are going to attack an innocent man just because he shares the Cinna the conspirator. This scene shows the Romans in a bad light and makes them seem very impulsive. At the same time is shows that they still love Caesar and are loyal too him in a weird way. Thats the way I say it.

Questions

Im confused why would the Romans attack the wrong Cinna knowing it the wrong Cinna  ? SMH

How does Cinna know Caesar  ?

Are these Plebeians the same ones from the other acts ?

week 2 Act 3 Scene 2

Antony
Moreover, he hath left you all his walks,
His private arbors, and new planted orchards,
On this side Tiber; he hath left them you,
And to your hiers forever: common pleasures,
To walk abroad and recreate yourselves.
Here was Caesar! When comes such another ?

Response
This monolog was the most significant to me because it shows Antony telling the Romans all the great things Caesar left for them  This enrages the Romans wanting to seek revenge even more. Its important because this shows that Romans have had it.  They feel bad for the killing of Caesar since he did all these good things for them. Its also showing that Caesar wasn't ambitious it shows the opposite that he left them things. Which makes the Romans evan more mad.

Questions
Do you believe that the Romans will seek revenge ?

Why is Antony defending Caesar ?

Act 3 Scene 1

Antony pg 73
A curse shall light upon the limbs of men;
Domestic fury and fierce civil strife
Shall Cumber all the parts of Italy;
Blood and destruction shall be so in use,
And dreadful objects so familiar,
Thats mothers shall but smile when they behold
Their infants quartered with the hands of war,
All pity chocker with costume of fell deeds,
And Cesear spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come and hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarchs voice
Cry "havoc" and let slip the dogs of war,

Response

This passage was important to me since its shows what Caesar feels towards the conspirators and what he wishes for them. He wants things to be just he want them breathless just like Caesar. In the passage he is saying that since you killed Caesar everything will fall down and we will be in ruins, thanks conspirators thanks a lot. What makes it meaningful to mean was the beautiful red hell with ATE & Caesar emgering from the firey hell  coming ready to slay everyone who did the evil deed to Caesar  picture Antony paints in my head. The language is EPIC.

Questions

Yall, Who actually killed Caesar ?
Was it a conspirator will stabbed him first then Brutus ?

Why doesn't  Antony kill Brutus ? It irritates me that Antony is just like "Oh" during the scene. Why do you guys think he didn't get upset?

I know its supposed to be level 2 question Ms.Rozmiarek  but I really want to know.
